Artist's Comments

My camera botched this picture up good, but this is the first of hopefully many Weighted Companion Cube plushies of mine. Perfect for tossing through a portal or taking with you to your local Aperture Science testing facility.

This cube was meant to be to size with the one in Portal, and so it's 15" across on each face. Made with fleece, fiberfill, and lots of patience. This is about half machine sewn and half hand stitched. That's a standard Sharpie pen in the picture for scale. It took quite a bit of time to put together, but at least now that I've designed a pattern, I can make more!

This one is currently up for auction at [link] if anyone's interested. If I can fetch a good price on this one, I'll consider having them available to commission.

Thanks! I have some friends who are huge fans of the game, so they inspired me to make a pattern for this, and make one myself while they made theirs alongside me. They use theirs as pillows, hehe.

Oh my gosh! I love it and I am SO STEALING IT FROM YOU! ...or I suppose I can just buy it huh? Are you gonna make more? I missed the last auction but I'd totally buy one for you if you made another. Heck, I'd buy 2! One for me and the other for my brother. The last one sold for only $33!? O_o It is worth so much more than that, especially if it's life-sized. I'd be willing to pay more, it is fantastically amazing and beautifully crafted.
